The tofu is deep-fried until crispy on the outside, then served in a warm dashi broth 🍲. •The dashi broth is key🍲 – Agedashi tofu is usually served in a dashi-based broth made from kombu (seaweed) and bonito flakes (dried fish). The broth is subtly flavored with soy sauce and mirin, giving the dish its umami richness. •Agedashi tofu is often served in Japanese pubs (izakayas) as a small, savory dish to accompany drinks!
